So the AP tour is right around the corner, and this year they bring Miss May I to a city near you! The tour kicks off on October 16th, and the band is releasing their new video the same day for “Day by Day”! But you’re saying, “I want new videos now!” Don’t worry, the guys have got you covered!

Zak Bagans releases album

It’s October, and that means it’s time for ghosts to haunt us all. You either believe or you don’t it the other side, but this one time of the year, all get frightened at some time.

For those of you who are into the other side, Zak Bagans, host of the show, Ghost Adventures, has taken all of the recording he has made of the paranormal, and created an album that is musically touching, with overdubs of these recordings.

The album, entitled NecroFusion, was made in collaboration with Lords of Acid founder, Praga Khan, and features 11 tracks full of body moving, scary feeling music, to keep you going. The album releases October 23rd, and is sure to be played at many homes for this trick-or-treating season!

Who would of thought, a cartoon about death metal music, would be what it is? That’s what many asked when Metalocalypse first came out, but it created a cult following, and lead to more then ever thought!

Just in time for Halloween, the band is releasing “Metalocalypse: Dethklok Dethalbum III” on October 16th, to fans everywhere! There is the choice of 3 different offerings. The first being the normal album, secondly a censored album, and last but not least, the CD/DVD combo!

Not only do they have a new release out, the band will be heading out on the road with The Black Dahlia Murder, Machine Head, and All That Remains starting October 30th. Tour dates are below!

Texas in July Making a stand World-Wide

Pennsylvanian natives, Texas in July, don’t only tour the US, but make strides abroad. The band just announced they are adding dates to their current tour, not in the states, but in Brazil!

They’ve been touring the past 2 years straight, all around the world, what they thought was by chance. But after announcing their most recent tour, Brazil came to the table wanting the guys to perform. They’ve performed with the likes of We Came As Romans, Norma Jean, August Burns Red, and many more! This leg they are out with Impending Doom, The Chariot, and many more!

Green Day Cancel Event

With the recent events, it has been officially announced that Green Day will be cancelling some events in the near future! The band has now stated they will not be playing at the 2012 VooDoo Fest that was scheduled for October 27th.

As you know by now, Billy went into rehab earlier this month to take control of some issues after the I-Heart radio fest.

We will bring more information as it comes in about the bands future tour dates.

LAMB OF GOD is looking to honor the brave men and women of our United States military by incorporating soldier’s names and faces into a video presentation during their upcoming U.S. tour. If you are in the military, or have a husband, wife, brother, sister, friend or family member who has served or is actively serving, and wish to be included in this video tribute, please take a moment to send a photo to logvideocontent@gmail.com.

Please keep the photos under 2MB and include the soldier’s name, military branch, and a brief description of where the soldier is serving or has served. The band is asking for photos of soldiers killed in action, those actively serving, and those who have completed their service to our country.

This presentation will be directed by LAMB OF GOD lead guitarist Mark Morton and longtime LAMB OF GOD videographer Doug Spangenberg, and will be seen by tens of thousands of people over the course of LAMB OF GOD’s upcoming U.S. tour. Please send your photos and information in as soon as possible if you would like for you or your loved one to be included in this tribute.

Howl-O-Scream 2012

It’s that time, where the ghosts and goblins take over, scarring the young and the old. A tradition loved by so many, and celebrated for so long, some know it as All Hallows Eve, but to the most of us, it’s Halloween! Every year at this time, the wicked take over. One of the biggest events in the Tampa area is Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream. Every year the park brings a new terrorizing event, and this year, it’s the Circus of Superstition, in 3D!

It’s Busch Gardens 13th Howl-O-Scream, and with it, all the superstitions you had growing up. Don’t step on cracks, beware of black cats, and no matter what, don’t break a mirror. The Circus of Superstition is this years new house, and it’s all of the folklore you heard growing up. Will you step on a crack that breaks your mothers back, or will a broken mirror give you ten years bad luck?

The “Circus” isn’t the only new house this year, they have now also introduced the Blood Asylum, where you are transported into an old asylum, and the most dangerous patient is on the loose, killing and skinning all in his sight.

For visitors of past events, Nevermore, Zombie Mortuary, and Nightshade Toy Factory return. And the scare zones bring back scares and fright from the past 13 years.

This year is one to get to! 13 years always brings the best!

We hope to bring some inside footage in the near future, check back in the middle of October!

Reel Big Fish Donate to Aurora, CO Injured

With last weeks tragedy still hitting the country, Reel Big Fish has taken one of the first steps towards recovery for the victims of the events that took place. Below is a message directly from the band:

“A Message From Reel Big Fish:

Last Thursday night, Reel Big Fish played to an amazing Denver crowd. The night was buzzing with positive energy as the last notes of the horns blared and the audience poured into the dark to head home. Little did we all know; right down the street, a tragedy of unspeakable horror was unfolding, in Aurora. Because of the love that Denver always shows us, we would like to do what we can for the friends and families of the victims. Proceeds from our show at the Belly-up in Aspen, CO last Friday July 20 will go to The Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance. Our booking agency, The Agency Group will also be making a donation. If you wish to donate or learn more about the organization visit www.coloradocrimevictims.org. All our love goes out to the people of Denver in this time of sorrow. Music and dancing is good medicine. Be with friends and boogie!
